I have been busy decking the halls for the past couple of weeks and am SO excited to be joining some amazing home decor bloggers & sharing a Christmas Blog Hop today with you! Welcome to all of you visiting from Lora Bloomquist’s blog ! Lora’s home was absolutely beautiful. Be sure to pay a visti to another amazing Christmas Home Tour. You don’t want to miss out on Melanie’s at Southern Crush at Home holiday home tour. At the bottom of this post are the links to their Christmas Home Tour posts!

I must start by saying that I don’t think that I have ever had my home decorated this early before, but I am kind of liking the fact that it is now {almost!} all done and I just get to sit back and enjoy it for a whole month.
My favorite area to decorate every season is our mantel that is in our main living room. It is the first area I love to begin decorating no matter the season. Christmas is my favorite of course. There is something magical about twinkling lights. Don’t you think? Also be sure to check out my sweet friend Heidi’s from Elanor Rose Home Christmas Home tour for 2022.

I love to start of with a theme. I have found that once I have picked a theme it is so much easier to begin to plan out decor ideas. Last year, I was obsessed with The Nutcracker. This year, I went with a gingerbread house everything theme.

I thought today I would show you this year’s Christmas mantel. Last year, I bought an adorable Gingerbread house at Hobby Lobby. Seriously, before you go & buy holiday decor, check your bins. You will be surprised at how many items you have that you totally forgot you had. I didn’t even remember I had it. Anyway, this little gingerbread house was how the whole themed began.

Okay lets start with our Frame tv art. I went with a vintage Christmas village scene. I love our Frame Tv. Its so easy to transition into the season by easily swapping out the art thru Etsy downloads. It’s so fun to change the art & look at all the art that is available.
These adorable gingerbread houses are available at Hobby Lobby. They are so cute & they even light up, they look so pretty at night. They are so affordable. I place 4 on this years Christmas mantel.

Next, the garland. I used 3 6 ft garlands to give it a full look. I got two of them from Target 3 years ago. I love them because they look so realistic.
The Pom Pom garland is my favorite because the pom poms are so big & fluffy. This was a Target purchase as well. Okay I do shop at other stores besides Target. The Merry Christmas banner I got from West Elm. Its so pretty. you need to check them out.

I used star sting lights that are available at Amazon. I also wanted to give it a warm & cozy feel. I went to Dollar Tree and bought tall white glass candles. Seriously, they are so pretty grouped together. I bought 6. Don’t ever forget to stop by Dollar Tree. You will be surprised at some of their items. Now, be sure to stop by my sweet friend Melanie’s beautiful Christmas Home tour.
